I have had the weirdest 24 hours.
It was Riding Of the Marches yesterday and for the first time ever I had to miss the parade as I unfortunately had to work. When I got back home I tried to work out my plans for what was left of the day and whilst some friends were incommunicatto, others were happy to have me. [Yay!]
Anyway I went down the river and met the boys for some banter, although I have to say almost getting thrown into the river was not the fun part. Totally gutted because my shoes are now completely wrecked. Later on, after some mindless wandering, we went to the Central and met up with the girls, and the night continued as we all danced under the moonlight. That is basically the story of my ROM fun and ends with me watching Thomas the Tank Engine at 5 am, like the unbelievably cool person you know me to be.
Anyway, I realise it does not sound that weird but it really was very surreal [...and rather fun!]. So I thought I’d tell you a bit about it.
